Last week i was sent on a trip back to old Blighty herself, England! The 4 day exhausting James Bond extravaganza
was thanks to 8TV and Visit Britain. It started coming straight from filming Ultimate prom night with Marion Caunter, Sarah Lian and Hanson Lee. so already by the time i left for the airport i was completely knackerd… and as soon as i
get on the plane for the 11 hour journey for Amsterdam I find that KLM does NOT have televisions on their seats!!! After a 5 hour transit in Amsterdam i catch my last flight to London Heathrow, land, take express to paddington, paddington to my hotel Grosvenor House on Park Lane by black cab, check in, shower, then meet everyone downstairs in the lobby to start the day of activitys… at this point the bed looked irresistible!
Through the 4 days we managed to cram in A speed boat trip down the river Thames, James bond Museam, motor show in Beaulieau Buckinghamshire, Martini making course, Trip to the shirt makers who did Casino Royale, Sunseeker Yacht fa
ctory down in dorset, had an old gentlemans s
have with a cut throat razor, ate at Scotts an extremely expensive fish restaurant, also ate my way round Harrod’s foodhall.
It was a really strange feeling being back, it was as though i really didnt feel at home anymore… i think its because i’ve got so much to do in malaysia, and that im really putting my whole self into it so going back kinda feels like im giving up. i was really glad to come home to KL. But it was an amazing thing being able to see my family and close friends again, they are who i miss the most. London will always be there, but its the people i love that i truly miss.

Remember the first time when you told everyone that you’re gonna put your full heart in your work at 8TV when you start in Aug? It’s a big investment to come all the way fr. London to Malaysia to enhance your experience in hosting shows- You did well and Quickie is one of Malaysian’s favourites! Career is something which you’re working on and the experience is something that no one can take away from you. Loved ones - You can always go back to visit them whenever situation permits you to. I’m sure they miss you too, and would make an effort to fly down to visit you. Glad that you catched up with your family members, just before Raya. Selamat Hari Raya*
