So i just got back from HK… my gosh is that a crazy city, 2 weeks of non stop partying. definatly not a place for the dull of weak livered… lots of booze

will prob write some inserts of the HK adventures later on… But for now im gonna write about last night~ STYLO!!!!

So Belinda asked if i would like to go with her as she was a muse for Carven Ong ( she ended up wearing a very beautiful pink number) so i was more like an extra handbag! Was a lot of fun seeing all the very glamorous people and very beautiful people, in total we spent 4 HOURS there! Me and Bel were aching to get home, but in all was a fantastic night only niggle was that the catwalk was lit so it would burn the audiences retinas! yup seeing spots till now…

Really sorry i’ve been lazy with the blog guys, been really busy lately and cant find the time to write an entry.

Im headed for a Levi’s photo shoot tomoro so should be alot of fun, i’ve been chosen as a presenter for the new campaign showcasing malaysias talents in the media, also will include DJ’s, Radio hosts, Bloggers and a few others… will let you know how it ends up!!

Through the 4 days we managed to cram in A speed boat trip down the river Thames, James bond Museam, motor show in Beaulieau Buckinghamshire, Martini making course, Trip to the shirt makers who did Casino Royale, Sunseeker Yacht factory down in dorset, had an old gentlemans shave with a cut throat razor, ate at Scotts an extremely expensive fish restaurant, also ate my way round Harrod’s foodhall.

It was a really strange feeling being back, it was as though i really didnt feel at home anymore… i think its because i’ve got so much to do in malaysia, and that im really putting my whole self into it so going back kinda feels like im giving up. i was really glad to come home to KL. But it was an amazing thing being able to see my family and close friends again, they are who i miss the most. London will always be there, but its the people i love that i truly miss.

It was kinda an on the spur decision to fly out and see what this amazing city was all about, but also had a couple of friends from London who have been living out there for a year or so, Lara and Pete.

But the other most amazing person i was to see and spend time under her wing, seeing Hong Kong through the eyes of a local. Was of course the very beautiful Ankie Black. In some ways it was a very gifted view of the city as shes quite a well known actress and so fortunately went to some very glamorous resturants and events. One such experience was a sushi resturant by the name of “Zuma”… i think i can safetly say that it was the BEST course of sushi ever. Ironicly the head chef went by the name of Dan and he was a white guy from Boston. It was a sensory overload, course upon course just kept rolling out. Especialy with cold sake to wash it down, it was taste buddingly orgasmic!

It was a non stop weekend from the get go, getting into central Hong Kong at around 9 in the evening, Ankie rang me and asked if i had a white dress shirt because she was singing at a very posh charity event in the Grand Hyatt. So i immediately got changed and stormed into a taxi towards the hotel, Ankies mum met me in the lobby (which was the size of the whole of my hotel!) and brought me through where Hong Kongs elite were dining and listening to Michael Wong crooning some amazing songs.

And there she was dressed in Dolce… my heart decided to take a cat nap and skipped a few beats. she was absoloutly stunning. Its at these points in my life where i think to myself… how the hell did i end up in such an amazing and surreal setting?! Geez i love the random ramblings of life!

Walked through antique markets, Went on the Star Ferry, ate lots and lots of food, booked two hotels by accident (very expensive mistake…), met some amazing people, drank silly amounts of coffee Patron, walked so much my footsys got blisters and lost my hot mooncake virginity many a time!

Hong Kong is definatly on my list for the near future, it has this london feel due to the colonial british influence but the charms of asia. not forgetting almost every single person looked like a model! I am in love with that city and it shall not be the last you see of me Hong Kong!! MUHAHAHAHAH!!!

I had arrived to a swamp of smiling faces, alot of them barely reached my knee! the children were all dressed in identical clothing to teach them that everybody is equal and looked so cute running around extremley excited to see us. The children ranged from the ages of 6 months to 14, there were around 50 and 8 of those had HIV.

The most shocking thing i found was how worn down and sickly the children who had the virus looked, but it didnt stop them from smiling like there wasn’t a fault in the world, they were so innocent.

Some of the childrens so called “parents” had abandoned them from birth due to financial problems or when they have found out that the baby has a health problem. the youngest was 7 months old and had a swollen heart, she was left on a doorstep in the night.

The whole experience really drilled into me on how irrealevent petty day to day problems are. There are Innocent children out there who have only hope and dreams to hold on to, and would die to have a glimmer of what were gifted with.

I hope that you could have an experience to open your eyes, to just make you aware of whats happening to those less fortunate…

The little girl im holding will sadly die before she reaches her 20’s, but with the help of the home she lives as much of an ordinary life as she can…

are HIV positive… meaning very few will live into adulthood. For me thats what hit home real hard, that these children will never be able to live the everyday lives we so take for granted.

So off we went on a Quickie adventure! sadly Fabes couldn’t make it out with us so it was me, Belinda and Little ol’ Rina to hunt though Mydin for worthy prezzies for the kids. I was in charge of foods and cakes, not to mention the traditional malay clothing ‘Baju Melayu’. The girls of course took on the stationary and th

e task of finding me some new threads! (they look like pimped out pyjamas!)

3 Hours, one strange looking shop assistant and 50 goody bags later we had completed our worthy task! On Saturday we’ll be headed to the orphanage to meet the little tyke’s and give them some lovin!

Holey moley where do i start, these past 4 and a half months have been the craziest in my brief 21 year history! I moved out to KL on the 14th of April just planning to land and let loose times roll, just going with the flow is what i do best and its taken me this far, so i thought of it as a tried and tested method of keeping me happy and on my toes. I had the most amazing lifestyle back in London, amazingly fashionable celebrity ridden job in West London, and as soon as 7 o’clock hit i was back to Brick Lane central East, the best place for wild nights, crazy cats and curious minds.

Fast forward a few months and one complete change in career… im living in Kuala Lumpur, i drive a mini clubman GT, I have met some truly amazing people, Im featured in magazines across Malaysia, I get paid to sit on a couch and Banter with the funniest T.V personalities around, eat the most amazing food in the world and all this from starting a complete blank canvas… so its worth taking a risk sometimes guys, i’ve been very lucky to have a good support of friends who have helped me a lot along the way!
