Hi Henry
How are you? I hope you and your loved ones are doing fine. I came across your website quite by accident actually. I was doing a historical research on King Henry the VIII and gold bullion, and your name popped up in a link. And since I haven’t been following The 8TV Quickie lately, and I didn’t even know that you are their new host then, I didn’t even bother to click on that link.
And what happen in the next couple of days are a comical series of incidents. Like bumping into (literally) my friend’s laptop with your picture on the desktop and getting yelled at, in Starbucks, by my friend who grabbed her precious laptop and started kissing your still smiling face in full view of the amazed patrons. There and then she explained to me who you really are. And so, lo and behold, I watched The Quickie that very night and thought : “Okay, God. I met Henry, thank you very much for the introduction.”
I made amends by catching up on previous episodes on the 8TV Quickie website and I am impressed with your work despite you’re being new and all. Hosting a live programme is never easy and yes, you are handling yourself well alongside the more experienced hosts. You able to handle the unpredictables (blurry callers, lost-in-translation moments and weird answers) as well as the criticisms from the show’s cast iron die-hard fans.
Keep up the good work, always think over your career choices and choose your decisions wisely, and never, ever forget your origins.
Cheers!
